As a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), First Presbyterian is part of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, one of the largest Protestant bodies world-wide. We are a congregation that seeks to call, engage and equip believers toward a fully committed life in Jesus Christ.

Through our Catholic heritage we proclaim our belief in the incarnation of God in Jesus Christ and belief in the mystery of the triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Through our Protestant heritage we proclaim our belief in the authority of Scripture and the justification by grace through faith.

Through our Reformed heritage we proclaim our belief in the sovereignty of God, election to service and salvation, the covenant life of the church, faithful stewardship of God’s creation, vigilance before the human tendency toward idolatry, and life lived in obedience to the Word of God.
